If you are looking for a good adventure, Ada and Jaime will take you on one in The War that Saved My Life. According to GoodReads, the book is, "An exceptionally moving story of triumph against all odds set during World War 2."
Normally I stay away from historical fiction and read more fantasy and science fiction. This story grabbed my attention right from the start. Ada was born with a clubfoot but she won't let that stop her. She has dreams and knows she is capable. And it is not only her life that is saved.
If you are looking for a page-turner that may save your life, too, this is a good bet.
